PUP-P’que now offers baccalaureate courses

Good news for Parañaque residents! The Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP)-Parañaque Campus is now offering baccalaureate courses, among them Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management; B.S. Information Technology; B.S. Office Administration; B.S. Business Administration, Major in Marketing Management and Human Resources Development. PUP-Parañaque was established under the partnership of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and the City Government of Parañaque and pursuant to local legislations particularly Ordinances 91-107 and 11-03 and Resolutions 04-35 at 07-39. “Education is a priority program in my administration. We continue to build schools especially in barangays where there used to be none so that even students from poor families will have the necessary preparation for a brighter future.” Parañaque Mayor Jun Bernabe said. “When PUP-P’que formally opened on May 12, 2011, it only had technical courses as initial offerings. Today, it has courses that lead to bachelor’s degrees. With this, Parañaque students need not go far in seach of good courses and quality education. We have it here in the City.”, the local chief executive added. It is now accepting applicants for SY 2012-2013.
