Parañaque to Hold 18th Job Fair

For those seeking employment or are interested in applying to other companies, the Parañaque City Government under the leadership of Mayor Florencio M. Bernabe, Jr. will be hosting a job fair on Feb. 6, 2009 from 8:00am to 4:00pm at the parking lot of City Hall. The event dubbed as “Serbisyong Handog Job Fair II” is a project of Mayor Jun Bernabe under the supervision of the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of the Parañaque Livelihood Resource Management Office (PLRMO) headed by Ms. Doris Marquez to provide employment opportunities for residents in the city. “By holding job fairs, we hope to provide our constituents with more opportunities for getting a job because apart from providing individuals a source of income, it also builds his self-esteem and character as well,” Mayor Bernabe said. The mayor encouraged all job seekers to take part in this activity, especially now that are times are tough and opportunities are scarce, making it more difficult for people to find work. Various companies in different fields will be taking part in the event, giving applicants opportunities to choose which company they wish to apply to.  All participating companies will directly hire applicants who meet their qualifications.
