Discussed at length by resource persons from the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) was the importance, ways and benefits of synchronizing the agenda of the executive department with that of the legislative branch of the local government.

For budgeting and implementation efficiency, the participants also deliberated on the individual department’s plans, soundly establishing priorities following community needs as outlined in Mayor Jun Bernabe’s Project H.E.L.P.S.- Health; Education, Environment and Economic Prosperity; Livelihood and Livability; Peace and Order; Social Services, Socialized Housing, Sports and Senior Citizen Welfare.

“With a synchronized executive and legislative agenda; carefully drawn and well implemented projects and programs; sound governance; and supportive community, we will realize our Vision: “A prime habitat city of the Metro South with quality education, rich culture, social justice, and a healthy environment sustained by an economically competitive and sound governance, synergized by capable, participative and God-fearing citizenry.”, Mayor Bernabe said.
