PGMA’s Serbisyo Muna Caravan goes to Parañaque

Parañaque City Mayor Florencio Bernabe, Jr. (right) observes as a government physician checks the body temperature of a child during a recent round of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo’s Serbisyo Muna Caravan in Brgy. Moonwalk, this city. Apart from free medicines, Parañaque residents had the opportunity to avail of free medical, dental, legal consultation, livelihood and information services provided by the DOH, DA, DPWH, DOLE, TESDA, DSWD-NCR, NFA, NHA, CDA, Pag-Ibig, NSO,NBI, PNP and a host of others; free overseas calls to relatives; free therapeutic massage, haircut, ornamental plants, tree saplings and vegetable seeds; and similar assistance and service. Host barangay Moonwalk and Parañaque LGU’s City Health Office, Special Services Office, Parañaque DSWD, City Agriculture Division and other departments provided support services and other inputs to this public service program of the national government.
