A crew of the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) operates a backhoe excavator on a barge during a recent cleanup-operation at the Parañaque River. The project is a joint undertaking of the city government under the leadership of Mayor Florencio Bernabe, Jr. and the Save the Parañaque River Foundation.
