There’s good news for fresh graduates and job seekers as the Parañaque City Government under the leadership of Mayor Florencio M. Bernabe, Jr. will be hosting a job fair on April 30, 2009 from 8:00am to 4:00pm at the Brgy. Sun Valley Gym, this city.

The event dubbed as “Bigay Hanap Buhay Job Fair ‘09” is a project of Mayor Jun Bernabe under the supervision of the Public Employment Service Office (PESO) of the Parañaque Livelihood Resource Management Office (PLRMO) headed by Ms. Doris Marquez to provide employment opportunities for residents in the city.

Summer has always been an opportune time for new graduates to get good jobs and by organizing job fairs, we make it easier for them to apply for a job” Mayor Bernabe said.  The mayor added that generating employment and livelihood projects are vital towards uplifting the city’s socio-economic status.

Various companies in different fields will be taking part in the event, giving applicants opportunities to choose which company they wish to apply to. 

Applicants must bring all their necessary documents such as resumes, transcript of records, diplomas and other requirements to the event.  For more information, interested parties can call the PLRMO at 820-65-27-28.

This is the 20^th job fair that Mayor Bernabe’s administration has hosted since his administration first assumed office and is held every quarter. (Public Information Office)
