Parañaque Youth and Sports Development Adviser Benjo Bernabe (center) and Don Bosco Brgy. Chairman Teodoro Virata, Jr. direct volunteers in removing  debris  from one of the waterways in the said  barangay during  a creek clearing operation coinciding with the celebration of Earth Day.

The clean-up aims to rid streams of garbage that serve as breeding sites of mosquitoes as they impede water flow causing floods in the process. This step is also designed to prevent garbage from getting swept towards the river and ultimately to the sea. (Public Information Office)
