PARAÑAQUE REVENUE CODE CITY ORDINANCE No. 04-22 Series of 2004
Important Provisions Section 2J.04 Administrative Provision
a. Requirements - Any person who shall establish, operate or conducts trade or activity mentioned on this chapter in this city shall first obtain a Mayor's Permit and pay the fee therefore and the business tax imposed under the pertinent Article.
b. Retirement of Business - any person natural or juridical, subject to the tax on business, submit under Article L, Chapter 2 of this ordinance shall, upon termination of the business, submit a sworn statement of the gross sales or receipts for the current calendar year within (30) days following the closure. Any tax due shall first be paid before any business or undertaking is fully terminated.
EXECUTIVE ORDER No. 01-05-2009 Executive Order Imposing Administrative Fines on Business Found Operating without a Mayor's Permit
PENALTIES
3.01 A fine of One Thousand Pesos (1,000.00) for operating w/o a Mayor's Permit or for operating another line of business which require another Mayor's Permit other than line of business already issued; The fine herein imposed shall be paid within the period of (10) days from the date of the First Notice of Violation for operating w/o the appropriate Mayor's Permit issued by the Business Permits and Licensing Office, and;
3.02 An additional fine of Three Thousand Pesos (3,000.00) for those violators who failed to apply for a Mayor's Permit and pay the fine of One Thousand Pesos w/in the period of (10) days as mandated in the preceding Article 3.01 who shall be issued a Second Notice of Violation for operating w/o a Mayor's Permit.
3.03 Any business that continue to operate w/o paying the fines imposed herein shall be ordered closed by the City Mayor or by his duly designated representative, Owner Manager or Officers of Corporation found in violation of this sub article shall be criminally prosecuted under chapter 3 of this Ordinance and made to suffer an additional fine of Five Thousand Pesos (5,000.00) or imprisonment of not less than one month nor more than six months or at the discretion of the Court.
